and I do know after looking is got monster headers connecting to the stainless steel exhaust from what I can see to the point they had to modify and put in an aftermarket oil stick that has a Spring top so it cannot come out unless you press the spring down so I know that's been modified other Nat I don't know anything else about it any help on traction or any help on anything would be appreciative

I've got the 2.8 KB, 60lb injectors, long tube headers and I was dynod at 697 on 17 lbs of boost. I'm going to up it to 25lbs and see what I get out of that. Also was thinking about cams but the cost of the cams plus the labor I just don't know if it's worth it. How much HP did you gain after the cams if you remember thanks.

I see now why you say ego killer. I love the car I just hate banging gears, I was going to get a term I until I found out what the coyotes were doing

I heard that doing cam upgrades to modular ford engines doesn't really do anything but give you the sound of a cam because of how stout the internals are anyways is that really true and did he keep the Manley rods in it with those cams?

It's crazy to think that 674hp 613tq is almost average today.I have a 850hp supersnake and a 850hp 08 gt500 and there insane fast.My 08 ran 9.77 at 144mph.That is crazy fast.

Before people think I am bashing Shawns cobra.Iam not iam simply saying that 673hp was fast 10 years ago and today it's almost average. My 08 gt500 makes 850hp and my super snake makes 900hp and if the power numbers continue to rise.Guess what my numbers will become average. But the cobra with 673hp and my car's will never go out of style. They will always be fun.

change the gear to 3.73 I have the same setup with 3.73 with 3.73 you will smoke z06 even in the highway you can use 5 gear with 3.55 pull strong until 4 gear.

JB_Stang The blower is a aftermarket 2.3 Whipple and the exhaust is a offroad Xpipe and Steeda catback...All other mods are listed in description.

ok I just bought a 1998 SVT cobra from a dealer ship thay only know that it has A Stainless steel dual exhaust system|Gas-pressurized front struts & rear shock absorbers|Rear wheel drive|P245/45ZR17 performance SBR BSW tires|17 x 8.0 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels|HD 58 amp/hr maintenance-free battery|Pwr 4-wheel disc brakes|Coil-spring 4-bar link rear suspension w/variable rate coil springs|Unique Cobra strut/shock absorber calibrations|Limited-slip axle|Modified MacPherson strut front suspension w/stabilizer bars & variable rate coil springs|.. The thing is I have hardly no traction in first second gear it read so hard that I can't get traction and first if I going to second easy by slamming to the floor it just wants to go sideways and I know they air intake from the MAF sensor curves and goes into the fender well of the car so I know that's not stock and my speedometer seems to be 10 mph off and I know it needs an alignment it pulls to the left any help would be appreciated

The speedo is of because they changed the rear axle ratio to something lower(higher numerically) to like a 3.73 to a 4.10. Get a tune or a speedo calibrator. Get some wider tires such as 275s or up. Those Cobras came with a 3.27 gear ratio from the factory and with the cobra making most of its power up top it's not the best gear ration
