the key is to maintain and this car will never break. i just bought an 04 sequoia sr5 2wd with 98k miles last year in sept(2023) for 5k$. i spent 250 for a new all aluminum 3 rows radiator, 40$ for rad hoses,about 90$ for 8 denso spark plugs, new trans and diff fluid around 120$. the timing belt and water pump has already been done @90k miles by previous owner. 375$ for a pair of front lower ball joint. i also got the throttle body removed and cleaned and added a new aif filter .the labor was free since i did all of them myself. after the service , the car run perfectly, the engine and trans are so smooth.it go up hill with ease, the only problem is the mpg, these car is a hungry hippo, it eats gas like no tomorrow. thank god i still have my daily 06 accord 5speed. i'm only driving this tank over the weekend to the super market or taking the dogs to the park and sometimes on camping or fishing trip.
