Prince realized that too much production stagewise, and too personal and or nebulous a musical message, theme, just did not draw in audiences. Lovesexy Tour ended up in the red. Here many years later, while not denying Prince's talent, special ability to just rock you alone on stage, but also if you sat up in the far nosebleeds, was maximizing his profits. Nods to a capable and skillful musicians he had on stage with him. But they were hired. He didn't repeat that mistake. But, the former, I stood in awe. Here, at Staples opener, I nearly walked out, but left with a feeling of complete gratitude I had experienced a Lovesexy concert.

For me, the LoveSexy tour was his best! 1999 is my number 1 for sentimental reasons tho.
