Great video! Thanks for the help! Keep up the good content. I might suggest making your videos just like this, but doing common jobs on common cars that lack videos!

You DO NOT need to unfasten any of the ball joints, as you do not need to pull the stub axle completely out of the steering knuckle. You can just pound the stub axle inboard (using the axle bolt as a punch) to gain some clearance to remove the four M12 triple-square bearing housing bolts. You did twice as much work as necessary for this job. The fact that you disconnected the upper part of the steering knuckle made it difficult to knock the bearing housing out. You can back off and then pound on the four M12 triple-square bearing housing bolts from the inboard side to break the bearing housing loose, then drive a chisel between the parts and pry the bearing housing out with from the outboard side. I would also recommend getting a better HD camera. The low-resolution video looks like it's 30 years old already. It spoils your efforts.

I suggest you tell people what size tools or what tools to use to do the job.

I can do that, thanks for the suggestion. I do in some videos, more specifically when its a special VAG tool that you need. Thanks for watching!!!
