Why does the old one have circular holes and the new one does not?

They are just circular divots from the molding, I think. They are not holes that go all the way through.

@@Out-Of-Alignment I've seen those and wondered if they work, so glad to know they do cause I need to replace my seal, wasn't sure if you could do it w/out pulling the cover. My harmonic balancer broke and I have already bought a new one but it ding the seal so I'm feeling pretty optimistic now! Thanks for the video you made my day!!

I think that if my front crank seal leaks that I we get my son to change it.

Instead of greasing the seal just put it in the freezer. I think these are to be installed dry.

Thanks for idea. It hasn't leaked yet, so grease seems alright

Was it 1 seal or 2? Was thier also one one the harmonic bal ? Becayse i have to change mine soon as i get the money.

There is just the one seal on the timing chain cover. I did not pull the cover, but there shouldn't be another seal at the block because the timing chain gets oiled. (I think. I am not a professional mechanic.)

The M8 bolts for the crank pulley? I think I got 50mm long
