Have you ever had an issue with the heat not working after a coolant change? I'm wondering if I got air trapped in there somewhere. It isn't over heating though.
@Out-Of-AlignmentАй бұрын
I haven't had that issue, but if the car is not over heating, my first guess would be the heater core. You may have a blockage somewhere keeping the coolant from flowing through the heater core. The heater core has a couple of hoses that pass through the fire wall. There are some connectors on the hoses. Maybe crack the connectors to see if it's airlocked?

Because I’m on the FAA Safety Team, I have to mention it. It’s illegal to fly rc Multirotors within 5 miles of an airport without filing a NOTAM, and especially over the runway. I fly jets off of that runway. And it gets the model airplane pilots in trouble that’s what caused us to have to pay the FAA and register our model planes and get remote ID put in them now because people are flying multirotors over runways. Especially that last shot was over the runway. You have a very nice hanger hope you get a good price for it. but stuff like that especially on KZbin is what’s getting that radio control airplane pilots in trouble. And we’re not the ones doing it.
@Out-Of-Alignment6 ай бұрын
I was not the drone pilot, but I did question her before she started flying. She said she was registered with the FAA and had a lot more knowledge about the rules than me. She knew how high and where she could fly, and she had a radio tuned into the airport frequency. Once again, I'm not an expert on the rules, but she was a professional photographer and said she had shot drone footage at this airport before. If there is any additional concern, come over and talk to me. I can get you her contact information.
@Cutedge26 ай бұрын
OK well maybe she filed a NOTAM but it just never showed up. Definitely not your fault! We all wish the FAA would quit making useless regulations on everyone.

I to am happy for Kelly’s new job, but sad you won’t be able to live in the house you spent so much time designing and building. I have always loved your house and admire your skills and dedication in building it up from plans to finishing home. Watching you and sometimes your dad helped me appreciate all the hard work you put into the project. I wish I could buy it! Good luck Zack, to you and Kelly. Hey my name is AJ and I'm a street artist I use spray paint everyday of my life I call my art rattle can art cuz I don't tag walls or property I do it in canvas and poster bored I probably go through 300 bucks in spray paint a month and always have a few of every color I don't have all the tools you do to make the shop like you got, but I was wondering if you could send me off in the right direction to accomplish that goal
@Out-Of-Alignment7 ай бұрын
The only "expensive" tools in this video were a table saw ($100 at a garage sale for mine) and a drill press ($40 at an estate sale for mine). You could easily do this with a circular hand saw and a normal power drill. Don't let lack of tools slow you down. Let whatever material you have on hand dictate the design. I didn't buy any material for this rack.

Nice video. Realy interesting. Please look at editing your audio, or investing in a better mic. There is a lot of compression on the high end and it hurts to listen to on headphones. Most likely you have the gain turned up too high, because the mic is too far away to keep it out of the camera shot. Better mic, or just put the mic in the shot, so you can get a stronger signal, and you won't have to boost as much. A little EQ will also help a lot with that.

I hope that wall is not between your shop and your home...it will go up like napalm if there's a fire. Flammable items are best kept in fire proof cabinet if your home is above or attached to your shop. Less convenient and more expensive....but smart.

On another topic, are you finding the black roof to be excessively hot in the Texas summer?
@Out-Of-Alignment8 ай бұрын
I actually haven't had a problem with it. It's got 2" of spray foam on the bottom, but there is a large mezzanine that separates the living area from the metal building roof. But, I think if I was going to do it over, I would go with just a white roof and keep the black trim. Some other hangars on the runway did that, and they look sharp.
@mikenellis92389 ай бұрын
I'm starting to build my own hanger home just SE of San Marcos, TX on a small runway with 14 lots. Re: the flooring, your system of laying the flooring (BTW, we have luxury tile in our current home and it's great) seems to have worked well but did you consider starting the first row at the center line and working outward? Since you'll be using baseboards, if there are any small variances the baseboard will cover them up.
@Out-Of-Alignment8 ай бұрын
The planks I but down were a lot easier to install the way we did it with their locking mechanism. Trying to latch the underside in when the top piece was already down was a challenge. But, all the LVP options out there have different locking mechanisms, so maybe this is possible with other brands.

So you did it wrong from the beginning , your problem has nothing to do with pads. Wasting time.

I have had the same saw for 20 years. Great for scroll work and can cut anything within reason. So nice to have the bigger throat without using much shop space. It’s not for resawing (ha!). But i would not want to lose it. Between this and a 14” delta, i can do most anything. Do not dismiss this tool! And do use a thin blade (.025 or less, and “ultraflex” is a good idea)

This is a great idea. Just built some new shelves in my garage and was looking for better can storage and I like this idea. What were the measurements you went with? Obviously this can be build to any size needed but what did you end up going with and what angle did you lay the can holder out on? Thank you.
@Out-Of-Alignment9 ай бұрын
I just used my hole saw that was one size bigger than a paint can. As for the angle, I just used what looks good, maybe 10°-15°. One side is up an inch higher is how I laid it out.
