2004 - 2009 Prius rear spoiler repair.

Thanks. I’m starting to hear a rattle from my 2009 as well. I’m wondering the wind pushing on it as we drive is pulling the spoiler away from the lift gate door. I’ll disassemble mine when the weather warms up.

It's pretty easy to take apart, just need to pry the panel aff and then everything will make sense, my video its not the best but let me know if need any help.

This sucks, having to do this finally. 100% sure it was from previous owners pulling the spoiler to close the trunk 😅

Yeah that would do it lol I didn't noticed when I got prius until I got home. I'm abiutnto hit 250k miles I got it with 125k

What Goes into removal of the interior panel?

Just get a flat metal puddy knife...insert between panel and metal and pry up and things will unsnap.

My car does not have this issue, but if it did, I would DEFINITELY use a regular or a sledgehammer - since they are stronger and faster - One Bang, and it will be flat.

After I put the camera down that's what i ended up using.
