Adding oil to the oil filter does not give your engine filter oil, The oil enters the filter through the Small holes on the outside then through the filter then goes back into the engine through the large hole in the middle of the filter! Also when removing the front skid plate it is much easier to just loosen the rear two bolts and remove the front bolts, That is why the mounting points for the rear bolts are slotted and not holes!

Two other points people should know is never use a ratchet that big to tighten up a drain plug, Using a ratchet that big you are just asking for trouble by stripping out the oil pan! Just like another commentor stated when using a crush washer you should really use a torque wrench! And secondly you should start the truck and let it run for a minute and watch your oil gauge then shut it off then check your oil, There is no way that you were able to fill the oil filter with enough oil Plus just because the specifications say one thing in reality it could vary plus or minus a bit! One last thing if you’re going to remove your oil cap it would be a good idea to cover the opening with a rag to prevent any accidents! But hey what do I know I’ve only got 26 years under my belt with the last eight years as a shop owner!

After re-watching the video I noticed that you installed a crush washer on the drain bolt incorrectly, The flat side should go against the bottom and the larger side against the pan! This video should be taken down and redone by someone who knows what they are doing not some hack that learned from watching other idiots on KZbin!
