Finally got a new computer! Quality of the video isn't great, but hope you still enjoy. I'll try and get it up to 480p for game 3, just have to find the full game at that quality!

Lieber = Underrated pitcher. Pitched a gem in this game 2, and he kept the Yankees in the game in game 6

God it sucks watching this knowing what happens later in the series. God bless Lieber, he did his job. Forgotten yankee. Only with us for 2004.

Torre and Arod are to blame for this collapse.

@@Surfer041 George Steinbrenner and El Duque is to blame. If George re signed Andy no way they lose 4 in a row. El said he couldn’t go his arm was shot. Couldn’t give Torre anything. The whole offense besides Matsui shut down not just Arod

Losing Olerud in the series to injury definitely hurt the Yankees.

I remember that both Olerud and Lofton were forgotten Yankees they were the ones that used to play for the Yankees that mostly everyone forgot and also I loved those moments of The Who’s your Daddy stuff on Pedro Martínez even when he isn’t playing mlb anymore he still did those when I watched the postgame of TBS on different postseason games.

Olerud getting hurt was a huge loss in the Yankees lineup in the 04 PS. Tony Clark was fn useless. Had Olerud not gotten hurt in game 3, I don't think tge Yankees cough up the series.

You had to include Olerud’s home run, it’s the most significant hit in this game. But why are all his other plate appearances skipped in this game?

I forgot this series started so good for the Yankees and im not even including game 3. The Yankees could have easily ended this series quickly if not for a couple of bad breaks and the Yankee offense dying down. Once their offense got cold their suspect pitching was exposed. Never mind game 4, you figure the Sox would get at least 1 game. It was like a domino effect, losing Olerud, the ground rule double by Clark in game 5 etc. Once the series went back to New York, the Yankees had very limited pitching to stand on.

why has the Yankees first baseman a helmet on ?

John Olerud had a brain aneurysm while playing in college, which forced him to have to wear a helmet at all times.
