I have been trying to track down a mystery whine coming from under the hood. It was so loud it became embarrassing to drive. Unlikely unless you have a noisy belt slipping on your alternator.

Tight and a 1/4” turn.

I have the same noise will replace the serpentine belt hopefully its just stretched an will.not have to spend money on the tensioner idle pulley system
