I have the 06 accord so far has been reliable engine and transmission wise but I have had to replace battery oil pan 1 Axel break disk and been having a code po420 come up says I have to replace o2 sensor that’s about it so far but I’ve driven it for 4 years now and never left me stranded. So I can say it’s been reliable to me.

The K24 is a legend. It's a shame Toyota's 2AZ plagues the oil-consumption issues. Other than that I love both vehicles.

The 2AZ had those oil issues from 2007 to 2009 I believe. Any 2AZ before 2007 usually doesn't burn oil from what I've seen. Still a shame like you said.
