2004 Nissan Xterra Removing the old fuel pump

I didn’t wanted to remove the fuel pump but because I had order it I just went ahead and remove it and show you step by step how to do it the right way. This apply to the early mid 90’s Nissan Xterra’s and early and last year of the Xterra (2004).

Great job. Always remember to get a yellow marker and mark the orientation of the fuel sending unit (upper plastic) housing before removal. If not you risk a fuel guage indication that will not be accurate.

I’m struggling a LOT with the plug you sort of struggled a little with earlier, that’s why I’m here. It just kinda came off suddenly for you

Yes that plug specifically sometimes is very hard to come off but as you can see I tried and came off I do recommend you to have a pick ⛏️ tool comes handy at the moment I didn't have but now I do

Yes i was able to replace They were original factory lines so very hard but got it done

This pumps are really hard to get out because they seating on an angle

well this is what happens when you try to do it yourself and don't know what you're doing it ends up taking a long time or you break something. 😔😔🗿🗿🗿🗿🤣🥲

Nothing never broke is just basically checking on it sometimes the meter will break because of age and specially the plastic
