Man, how times have jaded us. These days, factory stock, fairly low level trucks make 400hp and run 13s in the 1/4, and top of the line trucks are making 700+hp. And 220 horsepower is less than most family sedans these days, a lot of them naturally aspirated. That said, I would LOVE to have that Focus. I still see a good bit of them on the road, twenty years later. Not on the scale that you see Corollas or Civics, but it's still a testament that they were pretty decent cars.

@@LrulestheworldM8 Yeah, while there aren't a lot of factory "street" trucks left, like Ram's rumble bee, SRT10, R/T, f150 lighting (non-EV), Silverado SS, or that TRD supercharged tundra, like you said, you can still get a regular cab f150 or RAM express or something and go to a performance division like Roush and build it into your own street truck. The real loss, IMO, is the disappearance of the affordable sport compact segment. There are only a few pricey options left. WRX, Civic Si, VW GTI. Hyundai is killing the Veloster N. No more Focus or Fiesta ST, no more Cobalt SS, no srt Neon or Dart, no Mazda Speed3, no Lancer EVO, etc. Auto companies are basically ensuring young enthusiasts no longer have any options for affordable fun cars. They want everyone to buy a $50k SUV.
