Here in Poland for example pedestrians walk on the sidewalks and highways are disconnected from the casual city streets so we do not have to deal with such huge crowds of pedestrians walking straight under our wheels. Sometimes there is some dumbass who wants to commit suicide so a possibility of bumping into someone on a highway is there but it's definitely not common 😆 Not mentioning about the traffic lights, zebra crossings etc. which seem to not be really a case there in Africa.

The first generation Yaris is insanely reliable. Every single part on it is rock solid, only thing you might need to do is replace the brake pipes and the central locking can be a little faulty on some models. The 1.3 and 1.0 engine are good for 300000 miles easily.

@@recycleman975 just because its an old little toyota does not mean it doesn't have any electronics/chipboards etc. I can tell you this car is pretty modern. Fairly reliable and fuel efficient. It is produced from '99 till '05 i think.. It is not an 70's Hillux with carburetors, you know? or a first gen Civic from the 70's. THAT was a different time. And not to forget the way older cars from the 20's or 30's that broke apart after just 5000 miles.

Believe it or not the 1.0 vvti was able to reach over 180 km/h (on the odometer) at that speed the steering wheel was useless. The front of the car was insanely light 🤣. When I crushed it, the car had almost 200k km, the engine was clean, no leaks anywhere at all. A fact that was even more impressive is that the engine wasn't burning oil. It was such a great car, despite some defects such as the imprecise gearbox and the crappy steering weel. but I miss it!

I have this car in the TSport 1.5 version. Has bulletproof engine, and is powerful in high rev range. However the steering column is almost vertical due to short wheel base, and the car is therfore not meant for race driving. It WILL understeer followed by oversteer. Also the torque makes the steerinwheel snap left to right when full throttle is given. Also the TSport suffers from small brake issues. Theyre easily overworked. But then, im a total madman and literally send it non stop on public roads..
