I’ve owned one for the past 5 years. V8 with the premium package. It’s my all time favourite car, but it’s not an easy car to maintain. For the majority of people, I’d recommend against buying one. But if you’re willing and able to maintain a German land-yacht, you’ll love it. It’s a lot more reliable than a BMW and land-rover of that era, but it’s a finicky car. Never left me stranded though

knew a coworker who bought v10 version and paid $5000 for extended warranty. It paid itself over a few times.

They don’t have to be, my grandmas has had an 05 v8 Touareg for 5 years now and she’s never had any major problems. Besides the gas mileage it’s an amazing machine

Grandmas has an 05 Touareg just as old as me and it fuckin rips, such a beatifull car inside and out, and the quality is amazing, I wish they would make the v8 Tourman today cause I would buy a new one if I had the money

I have owned touareg, pheaton, few Mercedes s class v12, BMW 7ser, X5 v8, Porsche cayenne GTS and jaguar xjl 5.0. I think i like the Touareg best, If it is w12, it will be the best car ever.

Cheap Porsche substitute. That floor mat on the drivers really showed wear. These were nice at the time, VW seems to share many parts with all their models. Gotta love them all or hate. All what you are looking for.

There was so much fun to drive but like all German cars if you cannot afford to maintain them then you will not be happy. I never got 17 MPG even idling down a hill. 😆 More like 13 average
