True Dual Exhaust. Want to give your V6 Mustang a proper dual exhaust system? Look no further than the Flowmaster Force II True Dual Cat-Back Exhaust. This kit is unique and will convert the single muffler set-up of your V6 Mustang to a true dual exhaust set-up that offers superior performance and a more muscular exhaust sound. Re-using the factory catalytic converters, the Force II is offers improved flow through the length of the cat-back and is capped off with Flowmaster 60 series mufflers.
High-End Construction. The Flowmaster Force II True Dual Cat-Back Exhaust is constructed from high-grade 2.25” 409 stainless steel tubing to offer superior exhaust flow over the stock OEM pipes. Included in the kit are a pair of Flowmaster Chambered 60 Series Mufflers to provide the muscular and intimidating exhaust growl! Also included are a pair of extra-large 3.5” high-gloss stainless steel tips for added style and aggression. The exhaust tips have an embossed Flowmaster logo to deliver a customized vibe.
Bolt-on Installation. The Flowmaster Force II True Dual Cat-Back Exhaust is a complete bolt-on upgrade for the 2005 to 2009 V6 Mustang. You can expect to finish the job in approximately 3 hours or less using a complete set of hand tools. This kit will reuse the OEM catalytic converters and will require minor cutting on the factory Y-pipes.

Perfect system for me. Looking into buying an 09 stang for high school and this has a nice sound but not so loud where the cops will be on my ass lol

You do have to either cut about an inch and a half off the x pipe ends or notch the hanger brackets on the trans mount. At least on a standard trans. Also I would SERIOUSLY recommend putting heat wrap on the fuel fill tube/ pipes and/or modifying the driver side muffler as it is within a half inch of the fuel tube, although it is metal it has plastic wire loom surrounding it. Don’t use the template that comes in the box, use an online template from pypes and start about an eighth of an inch smaller.

I went the other direction. Cut the muffler off the stock exhaust and added a 12" SS resonator with a SS 4 inch tip. Sounds like a high performance V8 when accelerating.

sound is good, but a bit 'truck'-ish to my ear.
