Dan nailed it. The sweet spot for this model is the 250hp 3.5 V-6 in Limited trim. You can get an 09 Limited with about 50K miles for around 14G's... that's a lot of bang for your buck... or I guess you could buy a brand new Chevy Sonic with a manual trans,cloth seats and wheel covers.

@slikker68 Our used car reviews are divided by model generation -- the year range for one design iteration of a car. All 2005-2010 Chrysler 300s share a common design. Before that was a different design (the 1999-2004 300M, which we haven't covered yet). A brand new design was introduced for 2011 -- we should be reviewing that soon.

Informative review. I would say two downsides of the interior is that visibility could be a little better and seats could be a little cushier, but otherwise it's a lovely car.

is that Buick Park avenue in the U.S never seen this model ever before .. what year is that ???!!
@AutoTrader14 жыл бұрын
@TruJoker1 You're absolutely right. Good catch! Our video crew must have gotten confused. If you're shopping for a big sedan in China, you might want to take a look at the Buick Park Avenue. In the U.S. you should also consider the Buick Lucerne or Cadillac CTS.

So all around great spacious vehicle... BUT, when I go to purchase mine in the near future, I NEED to make sure the recall problems are taken care of.

all of the models are within 3 mpg of each other... the little bit you save going with anything but the Hemi isn't worth the weak passing power in my opinion... just get the Hemi...

My Chrysler dealership robbed me of $200 and never fixed my airbag recall. They told me I would get an email or call when the part was in. Never got a call or email. Then they charged me like $200 for an inspection I didn’t ask for.

@AutoTrader LOL! See now you're gonna have people at the Buick dealers mad because they can't get a "REAL" Park Avenue. From what I hear, the China Park Ave. would be the best full size american car in the states if Buick would actually sell it here. The new Lacrosse is nice but that Park Avenue is on another level. Same platform as the Pontiac G8 with a longer wheelbase and full on luxury. Americans were blown away by the G8, so just imagine the Park Ave being sold here. COME ON GM! Nice review

The hemi will no doubt give you a much better trade in figure when that time comes and would make up somewhat the difference in the fuel economy! after-all IF MORE IS GOOD THEN TOO MUCH IS JUST ABOUT ENOUGH!

The engine in this car doesn't break. We have 2005 with 2.7lt engine still running. Your next video should be Chrysler Pacifica

Here is the thing, the 2.7 and 3.5 have decent specs on paper, BUT their real world performance is different, yes they are reliable and not without but my 1990 Dodge Daytona ES with the 3.0 V6 can match them in acceleration and gas mileage and sometimes even beat them, in my opinion the hemi option is the best way to for this or the Charger.

Well I had 2006 with bad front end problems a lot but after that I had mine at 215 thousand klm and it was running great until a fucking Goof t boned me and insurance wrote it off and now I’m getting a 2010 300

@AutoTrader If all 2005-2010 Chrysler 300s share a common design, why do you only recommend 2008 to 2010 and not 2005 to 2008 also? Because the car is getting old? Thanks for you previews answer by the way.
@TruJoker114 жыл бұрын
That was a Buick Park Avenue from China, not sold in the states.

Um did you read the safety ratings for the side impact testing?. This 300 generation scored Marginal! and yes that is with overhead airbags. They rated Poor without the side airbags. You might want to rethink this car as being really safe. Nice looking car....YES! Safe all around...NO!

You didn't mention that it shares the platform with the Mercedes-Benz e- class or was that deliberately left out? They would have the lady saying the dumb comment at the Crap about the negative outweighing the good in the car when The only had a couple recalls and every other thing they say about the car in the review with extremely positive ... Don't be the less than credible chick! There's a reason 99% of the car shows have no broads in them It's a great car for the money!
