I had the 2024 Crosstrek Base and while I loved that car, the engine felt a bit sluggish. Unfortunately it was totaled by a distracted driver in December, but I walked away from a 45-mph head-on crash with only minor injuries. The 2025 Premium will replace it; $1200 is worth it for the upgraded engine. I didn’t get the Premium last time because I didn’t care about the infotainment system, but the upgraded engine is worth it.

I would like an option to opt out of the Infotainment System. I work in Technology. I am looking at a Screen most of My Day. I do not want to get in my Car or Automobile and be presented with yet another Screen. I need a Screen Break. These Infotainment Systems are a real turn off as far as I am concerned. I prefer a Physical Instrument Cluster, Buttons, Switches and Dials for controls. A Key and a Keyed Ignition is another Feature that I am looking for. The Absence of a Key is a step backwards in Security as far as I am concerned. I would like a Simpler Auto Design. I would much rather have a vehicle that had less Technology that was lighter, had a better power to weight ratio, increased performance and better MPG.

Research Wet Belt timing belts before buying. I wouldn't want it. If you have bought one, research how to keep that belt happy. Probably a lot of oil changes with the CORRECT oil. And your turbo will appreciate this also.

The 150 Prado is not a landcruiser. Neither is the 300, it's the same car as the gx550, which is just the v6 version of the Prado and also the 4runner. Toyota doesn't make landcruisers anymore apart from the 70.

@damilolaakanni Prados aren't landcruisers. The GX and 4runners aren't landcruisers. They're Prados. There's a huge difference and always will be. Landcruisers get their own everything. Prados share from the parts bin.

Light Duty (i.e Prado, including all three generations of the Lexus GX), Heavy Duty (J20, J40, J70), and the "Station Wagon" models (55, 60, 80, 100/105, 200, 300, including all four generations of the Lexus LX). I think 105 would have been the best choice (unless you don't get the 105 series in your country, then the 100 series would be the one to go for). It has the looks of the 100 series while maintaining the offroad prowess of the 80 series. Unfortunately you don't get the 2UZ-FE with the 105.

They are all real Land Cruisers. I owned an fj60 an fj62 several 4Runners and I daily a 2021 200 series. The Prado is a 150/250 series Land Cruiser and are some of the best off roaders in the world.

Had a friend get one in ATL. I feel bad for him because the interior quality is SO BAD for a $70k vehicle! WILD. It doesn't even have lockers 😭 Just buy a used 6cyl 4Runner instead of one of these things new. Toyota has gone so far down hill.
