I just ordered some of these and I have noticed that there's no dust boot or rubber dome things to go over the grease fittings on this, do you guys carry that?

Pure Luck YES. sportlines drop your car quite a bit. Without the relocation brackets, your lower control arm will be at a terrible angle.

How safe are these brackets? If you hit a bump at a hundred and forty miles per hour they're not going to bend and half are they?
@jamesrobertson62554 жыл бұрын
Twobarpsi if you have to ask, you know absolutely NOTHING about Racing. if you’re going that fast, you must be on a track, Ask other racers, they make adjustable units! If you’re on the street, I hope you’re in jail, and never drive again.

@@jamesrobertson6255 I'm glad you've donated towards building race tracks for those of us who have to drive 3+ hours to get to the nearest one. Oh, you haven't? Then I'll continue using the street.. Even the police around here aren't as big of pricks as you. As long as you're on back roads with no traffic, you can line up all day without them bugging you. Also, race tracks have bumps so his question is still valid. Steeda HIGHLY recommends that you weld their relocation brackets in place before driving the car hard. You even get a warning slip with them. The vertical tabs can bend and the bracket can pivot causing axle shift. Which if YOU knew anything about racing, you'd know a prepped/sticky track will increase the odds of that happening when you launch.

@@andrewslagle1974 May wanna let companies like steeda and BMR know they don't know what they're doing when it comes to suspension mods then. Literally from their site "This kit is a weld-in application for the S197 Mustang platform and is not recommended as a bolt in only application. Bolts are included for positioning and may be driven normally to a welding shop prior to competition or extreme use." And then BMRs site says "it is necessary to weld brackets in place if the vehicle will be drag raced". You can drive around on them just bolted on, but if you make any decent power and track the car, they can still bend.

@3:00 Why you gotta call me out like that though? Context: I've got a vibration in the driveline on my mustang, a 2011 GT Manual. Previous owner lowered it at least an inch and I swapped in an aluminum single piece driveshaft like 2 weeks after I bought to fix the worn out support bearing.

This video shows the relocation brackets without the top bolts installed. Doing this will allow the bracket to rotate and deform under hard acceleration. I made this mistake and the bracket deformed enough to cause the rear to go out of alignment. Need to add top bolt and weld in place.

@@kills456 There should be 4 bolts total. The tab bolt, which is installed, then 3 other bolts on the front side. The top bolt on the front side is not installed. Without it, the tab will deform.
