Thanks for the video , very helpful ! However I don’t have a lifter in my one car garage , besides that I’m an old guy doing that on the floor working underneath of the truck is difficult to me so I did it sliding the truck bed back enough only to have space to pull the fuel pump so I was able to work standing up , yes posible it’s more work doing it as I did but it works for me🤷‍♂️👍💪

2011 Tacoma. I was fueling and added some Lucas fuel additive. What I didn't notice is a little white disc that was on the open end of the bottle when I took the lid off. Yep, it fell into my fuel tank when I began to pour it in.. I'm worried it's going to damage the fuel pump?! Anybody...any advice?

It's funny how the prices and warranties are different between the different parts suppliers . Autozone has two pumps. One is $197.00 lifetime warranty. The second one is $497.00 with lifetime warranty. Toyota on the other hand , the price of the pump is $505.00 and the warranty is only one year. I bought the $197.00 pump and it came with new O-ring and the yellow plastic clips to reattach the fuel lines to the tank . There are alignment marks on the retaining ring that need to be lined up on tank. Good video . Informative and thorough.
