2005 Chevy 2500HD Pitman Arm replacement

Detailed video on how to replace a pitman arm, specifically on a 2005 Chevrolet 2500HD with the 6.0L gas engine (details may be different for the 8.1L and diesel).
Tools required:
Properly sized pitman arm puller
21mm socket and wrench
32mm socket (it'd be nice to a 32mm wrench)
Impact
3lb sledge
pry bar
jack stands, jacks, blocks

take the 4 bolts off holding the Sway Bar and you can pull down out of the way and have plenty of room

The original set I had was from Harbor Freight, and they broke immediately. Plus you run the risk of damaging the rubber boots. I've found that disrupting the metal bond with a sideways hammer strike always works. So it became my default practice and one less tool in the box. Of course, just my experiences and opinion. Not going to toss shade on someone else that is using a method successfully.

I need to do a follow up video here. Perhaps this next weekend. Ive done a bunch of work on this truck. The steering feel malfunction ended up being the steering gear. Drives great now.
