This channel is way better than Kyle and Karls Rest and Relaxation channel. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.

Great video btw! I had an overheating issues with my Aveo. It ended up being the thermostat housing. I have two issues on my 2005 Manual Chevy Aveo that maybe you can help me out with. First off, my reverse lights remain on regardless of gear. Secondly my open door light sensor keeps going off when ever I accelerate too fast or hit a bump. Any idea where to begin to diagnose these issues? Any tips would help.

I would start by unplugging the reverse light sensor "Back Up Light Switch" , its located on the transmission near the shifter cable. If the reverse lights turn off I would replace the "Back Up Light Switch," if they don't turn off you would need a schematic to find which wire or module interfaces the back up lamps and go from there. As far as the door light sensor it could something as simple as a defective door close/open switch. That one you need to unplug one door switch at a time and drive hard to see if you found the bad switch. A lot of these newer door switches use a magnet to activate and deactivate the light module. Normal resistant tests won't come up with anything if the switch is just weak and G forces can make the switch think the door open. I hope this information will help you fix these two issues. /K&K

Why can't you overfill? I have a gnarly leak (gotta fill every few days now) and I'm afraid I made it worse from overfilling.

You need room for expansion. If you have a leak you will have room very soon. /K&K

If I shouldn't use Dex cool 50/50, can you suggest something? My reservoir is empty.
@KNKRNR2 жыл бұрын
Dex-cool gets a bad wrap because people don't service the cooling system every 5y/ 50,000 miles. Most people run the OEM Dex-cool coolant for 10 plus years / 150,000 and that is where problems with Dex-cool become an issue. My suggestion if you use Dex cool is to change it every 4 years or 50,000 miles which every comes first. Other option is to use Autozone mix with any color coolant. Something be sure to change the coolant every 4 years or 50,000 miles which every comes first. /K&K
