2005 Chrysler 300 5.7L hemi crank position sensor p0335

this bad crank position sensor was causing the engine to shut randomly. a new crank position sensor fixed the problem.

My 2005 300c is showing an engine and oil light and while driving the rpm just drops to zero and the car stalls out… have to put my hazards on pull over and shut it off and back on again usually takes a few tries because it won’t turn over right away after it stalls and dies…… I just put new spark plugs and it didn’t solve the issue next is the crank shaft sensor I’m hoping this will get rid of that rough idle and random stalling… I’ll update this comment later

Hi, can this also cause a backfire of stutter under heavy throttle? Thats what my 05 300c is doing and stalling once in awhile. Thanks in advance

​@@Slow5.7from602it turned out being my MAP sensor (manifold absoulte pressure) that was causing my stall. Replaced it and hasn't had an issue since, still drive it today

Did this correct the problem of suddenly shutting off while Idling? My 05 300 C is doing this when I’m at a light or stop sign. I’m getting 2 different codes, one for the crankshaft sensor and the other is for the EGR valve

My chrysler 300 is the All wheel drive hemi and im not sure if the starter will be located in a different spot im i can't find any sources that give me an answer. And its hard to look and see because i do not currently have a jack to get under my car and look

Old video but if anyone else is finding this ... Never ever ever use anything other then factory dodge electronics. Dodge, Chrysler are very picky about their sensors especially this one lol.

This is an absolute must!! Not just for the hemi, I learned the hard way with a 3.6, took forever to figure out why it wasn’t working after replacing everything associated with the code. It’s bad enough where it doesn’t want to start.

I just ordered one from the dealership, it took me forever to figure out what was going on. The car started missing really bad when trying to accelerate, and it started stalling at red lights and stuff. I changed plugs and everything else, but didn't work.
