Thanks for the post. My wife came home from work with the same issue. I looked and yes it was the exact same thing you had. I plugged it back into place and added a zip tie to help keep it from popping back out and now she is good to go. You saved me time and money. Again thanks for posting this.

Thanks to your video, my girlfriend saved some good money, her 2005 focus started doing the same thing a few days ago, and after watching your video, when went outside to check the car out, and it was the same cable was out... thank you!

her pedal must have gotten stuck and instead of figuring out what's wrong with it she just pressed it all the way to the floor and that's what happened because my pedal got stuck on the Ford focus and instead of popping out that plastic piece that's about 3 in right there it's split in half it still works but that's how it broke

That is the cruise control cable. It is about to break. Going to happen again. Very common.

My Ford gives high RPM on low gare like 1 and 2 and this happens only after 15 20 minutes drive.
