2005 G35 Radiator Replacement / Upgrade

So I bought this radiator off of eBay, I was going to go Mishimoto but they looks identical so I hope it preforms as the mishimoto but for now this will get the job done, I did go ahead and order the new fans, they are mishimoto and also got the new radiator full of coolant

I've installed a bunch of these Luxerad Rad's. All running great. I just installed one in my G35 finally. Great value. Great product. Perfect fit. Fans fit perfect. Much better than the single row, plastic crimped stock rad that all eventually leak.

Do these 2 rows fit with the g35’s stock air intake ?

@@speedracer2831 okay cause I’ve heard ppl say you need like a Cai intake because the stock intake will not work with the 2 row and the stick fans because of the close fitment

@duesa2203 oh no, it fits perfectly! Actually, the stock rad frame is wide on top/bottom, and could easily fit 2 rows. But I guess it saved $ to just use 1 row.

After you put the fans in did your factory air box still fit in there properly

Well the fans I have installed are aftermarket, I have the mishimoto fans which are skinnier and so I’m assuming the oem air box would fit even better with more room I honestly have no clue since I don’t have the complete oem box but I would assume it does since it’s skinnier

They work, only reason I had to get diff ones was cause mine were broken!

Is there a difference between the auto and manual transmission cars as far as the trans. Cooler lines on the radiator?

So technically you can buy the radiator I bought in the video which I still have btw, and if you have a Manual perfect cause this radiator has the opening for the trans cooler hoses and if you have a auto like I do then perfect cause this radiator comes with screw plugs to plug them holes, I’ve had this radiator on since the post of the video and have had 0 issues

The radiator cap, can you swap it for like a z1 or mishimoto? For higher pressure

They came with the radiator, I have a automatic so you have to make sure your radiator comes with the automatic transmission adapters, and the screws to mount it also came with it

No leaks, and haven’t had any overheating issues so I’d say pretty good for they price, and most definitely a upgrade from factory
