That was an incredible finish! Carl Edwards beating Jimmie Johnson with Hendrick horsepower to get his first Cup victory. And hearing Bob Osborne on the radio right after the Checkered Flag with absolute joy was the best. Carl gets a well-deserved win.

Thanks for these old videos I started watching nascar back in late 2003. Being from honduras didn't have a lot of channels to watch but we had NBC, TNT & FOX, my first race I ever watch was the EA Sport 500 at talladega (2003) and I was hook from that day. These was really the best days of nascar to me with the drivers, racing and the tracks. Im still a fan of the sport and still watch every race but its not the same anymore.

+WestCoastFishing Dodge left because Penske had decided earlier that year (2012) to switch to Fords. They could no longer secure a top level team, and felt they wouldn't be competitive. They didn't want to leave.

Anytime JJ gets passed on the last lap for a win is a great finish. As a side note, the penalties that Nascar doled out were absolutely deserved. Cheating is cheating no matter how you try and spin it.
