THANK YOU! My 2004 Honda CBR1000RR Repsol would not idle without dieing. The adjuster didn't seem to work. I saw your video of turning the whole cord with the turn handle and it worked and idling at a nice 1200! PERFECT! Saved me hundreds for a checkup.

Thanks for the video! I was looking at adjusting the idle on my CBR1000rr REPSOL and I couldn’t figure out why the idle wasn’t changing while I didn’t want to break anything. Thanks again!

That is so funny. I’ve owned my 2005 for nearly 4 years and always wondered what that screw was. Thanks for the info!

Thank you, saved me some unnecessary work. U can also achieve the same effect by pulling the slack out of the cable while you turn.

My CBR954rr is having low idle issues. I'm going to try this when I get home and hope that fixes the problem. Thanks!

And did you fixed the problem Joshua? If not, maybe it's a faulty spark plug somewhere?

I've had a 2009 CBR 600rr for a few months. A while ago, it started idling strangely. I had pulled up to a stoplight after a few hours of riding, and the engine was idling at the usual ~1700 RPMs. I let out the clutch to pull away, giving it throttle, and when I pulled up to the next stoplight the engine was idling at 3000. From that point onwards, it has - when hot - idled around 3000-5000 rpm. When the engine is cold, it idles normally, but slowly inches up to 3k. I've replaced the airbox myself, had a friend replace the IAVC sensor (Idle Air Valve Controller). I replaced the gaskets around the throttle bodies on the airbox, and made sure every component was properly mounted. I am at a loss, and can only conceive that it would be a problem with the ECU. Any idea on what it may be?
