Watching this with a tear in my eye. Bought my granddaughter an 03 CR-V a couple years ago, and I really enjoyed working on it. She was at almost 250K when on Tuesday, while sitting at a stop sign, a chain reaction caused by an opposing driver blowing through a stop sign slammed a third vehicle into her CR-V, and now it’s been totaled. I loved that little car, and it was perfect for her. She took good care of it; checked her fluids, tire pressure, let me know when she was due for oil changes,… Anyway, nice job with the engine change. Wishing you many miles out of that little blue 2.4L.

@ Yes, she was not injured, thank God. I have learned through many experiences in my life what is important, and what is just “stuff”. Stuff can be replaced, and if it’s irreplaceable, well then, it’s irreplaceable. But it was still just stuff. And yes, I look forward to watching more of your videos. I will wrench Hondas vicariously through you! 😄

Thanks for the visit! I think my next video is going to be about making a 3 drawer 30" kitchen cabinet to fill in a space where a refrigerator was removed. Then it's back to the fence project from last summer.
