Nice! I have an 04 liberty & like watching others take pride in their jeep like I do. Clean work!

I am getting ready to paint all of the exterior plastic on my 2004 Liberty. This video was very informative. I liked the way you mounted the camera on the fenders. The out takes at the end of the video we’re nice. 😂 I am now going to watch your earlier Project Renegade vids.
@FoundAGarage2 жыл бұрын
Ah hope you see this! Did you respray your exterior plastic w a similar factory dark gray? If yes, could you provide the paint brand and code/color name if handy? Everyone just tells me “paint em black” but for my cars color I’d prefer the dark gray from factory. I like it.

Dude, that was absolutely awesome. I just bought a used 2005 Liberty and it needs a new bumper and rear fender flare (tire blowout). I'll watch it a couple of more times but basically it showed me that this out of my league (lack of tools and space being major issues). Again, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. You've got a great manner for making 'em. Thank you.

Really helpful...my replacement went pretty much exactly like this. I'll just add that I didn't need a torch to remove the step pads. I was able to use a utility knife to cut off the melted tab.

That's great that your step pads came of without having to set them on fire like I had to, who thought of that design!? Thanks for watching!

I've got the exact same repair at hand and I thought "what a useful video" after I saw this. A freak accident in which my '05 Lib rolled down the driveway, (left in N w/o P brake) and hit the neighbor's car, busted the D Side Tail light (replaced) and damaged the rear bumper. The body shop are quoting a pretty big amount for repair. I feel like I can handle it myself. Could you please share P/Ns?

Do you have a video on how to replace the front bumper? is it any harder than the rear bumper? what clips would i need?
@RockyXTV8 жыл бұрын
Yep, I believe it's episode 6. If I remember correctly it's mostly screws and bolts on the front with a few plastic rivets, but I'm not sure. It should all be in the video, I have all the Liberty repairs in a playlist called Project Renegade.

My tail light is loose like two screws are unattached , how Can I put it back in
@RockyXTV7 жыл бұрын
At around the 2:45 mark of the video I show you how to remove the tail lights. You would just need to remove the lights like I show in the video and inspect the little white plastic squares where the screws thread in. Make sure those aren't stripped out or missing, if they are you can get new ones at most auto parts stores. Or you can find bigger screws and run those in there. The opposite side of the lights kinda snap in as well, so you might check if they are snapped in all the way. I hope this helps you out, thanks for watching!

Rocky X TV i just bought some aftermarket ipcw led tail lights, but i am missing my plastic securing pins for the right side of the passenger tail light. Because of this, they do not snap in, therefore when i screw them in tightly, there is a rather large gap inbetween the light, and the jeep. Do you know where to buy these plastic things? Or do you at least know what they are called? I would even settle for a way to jerry rig the light in there. Thanks for the help!
