This is almost the as the one im looking at to purchase the color is grey low mileage as well. The bad gas mileage is not an issue with me I don't care for that in a big suv like this I'm more interested in the reliability it brings with it. When I go get mine I'm going to make it look a bit more aggressive than how it looks now.

its unbelievable how much noise is cancelled out once he closes the door on the 4runner. You could tell by the cameras mike that all the outside noise goes dead silent. Damn. No wonder the Big 3 are in trouble w/ Japanese imports like this coming in.

My USA grandfather has a 2007 4Runner and it's a nice SUV. And I think you missed out on a self-closing mechanism for the trunk. I once closed the trunk on my grandfather's 4Runner and saw a warning label to make sure to not get fingers stuck. So I failed to close the trunk all the way (on purpose) and no lie, it sucked itself shut.

My uncle would put so much stuff in the trunk that he was worried it wouldn’t close, but nope the motor easily closed it.

@jammer96 It's a BOF SUV w/ a V8 and on top of that, it's 4WD. What do you expect? And the MPG's are bad in the city, but good on the freeway since the RPM's are so low. (I would know, I have a 2003 4Runner V8)

Think of buying either one of these, or a 97-02 model as my first car. Anyone have any good or bad things to know about these SUV's? And how's gas mileage?
@daytonamisfits809 жыл бұрын
Speedysnail9999 avg 18mpg on the highway, so mpg isn't something you should expect with the 0'2 model, other than that the only thing that can think of that is really negative is it's size for city driving. It's a great offroad/utility vehicle ":)

@1970borntorun9 жыл бұрын
No offense man, because you're obviously a nice guy and all, but your reviews are "ok" for someone who may not have ever experienced a particular vehicle before, but it would be better if you'd actually give a review of the car's performance. Learning where all the knobs are for the sunroof and lights isn't exactly what anyone would consider an "in depth" tour. How about engine power at speed? Driving dynamics/chassis feel? Noise level on road? Brake performance? Steering feel? THOSE are things that would make it interesting, not as you do, a "Tour" of the Owners Manual.

The 4Runner is the best thing Toyota's got going. The trucks suck, the van is hideous and the cars are so freaking boring and ugly. The 4Runner is the only car they have that shows some emotion. I rode in one of these, the V6 Sport version, we had to pass someone and it didn't have any problems getting up to speed. It didn't sound too bad either. This is the only Toyota that I would endorse, very good car.
