I own a 2004 Camry, bought new, with 74k miles, in about the same condition as this one! In my youth, (I'm 78), if a car lasted 20 years, you'd be lucky to sell it for $100.! Today, we are seeing cars like this, still going for $4k or even $5k! It shows the amazing durability of these great automobiles! I'll keep mine until I die or stop driving!

Timing Belt? I thought the 5th gen Camry motors used timing chain?

The V6 was different.

Inline 4 - Timing Chain V6 - Timing Belt Will definitely influence your purchase on which one to get. V6 will definitely be more maintenance, especially when doing spark plugs too.

@@filopride619yep. But do the 4 cylinders from this gen have the excessive oil burning issue? I’m hearing mixed reports
@filopride619Ай бұрын
@@Aaron-fb6mb None that I know of until the 2AZ-FE "update" from 2007 onwards which is the common oil burning issue engine. For the 5th gen Camry 2AZ-FE, the main issue is the head bolts.
