2005 Toyota Yaris 1.3 VVT-i Colour Collection (UK) (full in-depth tour review)

Hello there! This is a full walkaround tour review of the 2005 Toyota Yaris five-door hatchback 1.3 VVT-i in the special Colour Collection trim paired with a 5-speed manual showing the exterior, engine and interior.
The exterior colour is Thunder Grey and the interior has grey cloth seats with red patterns.
To sum up, the Toyota Yaris XP10 is a spacious bubble with bubbly exterior interior, spacious interior, good quality interior and good resale values there is little too complain about apart from the fact that Colour Collection (based on the T3) trim has manually adjustable side door mirrors instead of electrical adjustment.
There is a range of engines to choose including a warm hatch T Sport with 105hp but I would go for the 1.3-litre petrol engine with 85hp (featured on this Yaris) with enough energy to get you from A to B. For trim levels, the Colour Collection (based on the T3) is well equipped apart from the manual mirrors but I would go for the T Spirit which gets you electric mirrors, steering wheel audio controls, sunroof etc.

I've had a 2005 Yaris for 4 years now and had no idea the rear seat would tumble like that. That would've come in handy a time or two. Glad I watched your video! BTW for any wondering, they are quite reliable!

Yes, ive had mine for like 4 years i think and put on alot of town and high way miles. Very reliable and practical. The maim issue is rust especially in the exhaust as it will cause the car to have much lower mpg and wont pass mot if too bad. Mine also had a bad battery drain. Other than that it an amazong car for all types of uses.

If you are referring about the car, then this Yaris is not my personal vehicle so obviously I don't use it. The pros on this Yaris are its endearing looks, flexible features and superior reliability that beats anything else in its class. Although, the cons on the Yaris are no electric mirrors on mid-range trim and the audio head unit is confusing to operate. I found used Yaris like these are good used car options priced from approx £2k-3k.

I was sad because it was exactly the model I wanted. 1.3 Vvt-i. But for the same price I can find French car much modern. Like the 207 Renault. Even though I don't like the design and the fact that's a popular car. Can I ask you what is your car?

I know that we purchase 2013 Kia Rio (used at 5 years and low mileage at 10k miles) at £6k and the 2015 Nissan Pulsar (used at 4-3/4 years and 40k miles) at £7400.

the t reg older yaris 1.0 gs is the tough cookie but the exhausts are weak inferior downfall

This is exactly how I lost my old yaris Sr had 160 000 miles on clock and was running great. But the whole exhaust system and the gasket joint and bolts had rusted so bad that it was a £400 labour job just for the time it would take to get the bolts out and replace a £10 gasket. ( really awkawrd to get to) I was driving it for months with exhaust fumes coming through the dashboard air vents, due to a leaky gasket. Had to let it go before I got some sort of carbon monoxide poisining

That was a good story of your Yaris. The Toyota Yaris are super reliable B-Segment cars I could a few old Yaris cars on AutoTrader that clocked over 150k miles and some low-mileage cars (20k or lower miles) holds it values up to around £3k for over 15 years of ownership.
