So my only question is have here is where do you get the replacement parts for it? As in you said you need the #4 part to repair it. Where do you go and get those? Take in mind I’m from Canada so places that you have might not have in Canada but can be near to almost the same if you describe what the store is fully. Thanks in advance!

Hey Ever since I did a similar repair, my crv will chime anytime I open the door even WITHOUT key in ignition. Also my remotes won’t work to lock unlock set the alarm, etc. I think the small thinner part of the antenna with the moving inner ring is acting funny or I played with it and it’s now stuck in the KEY INSERTED position and causing all this. Do you know anything about that piece? NOT the blocky transponder piece with the Honda lock code info. The inner part that is smaller. I’m guessing it is what senses the presence of the key. Would this piece be unique to the vehicle? Or could be swapped without disturbing transponder etc etc?

Hey. There is a whole pin removal tool for Honda ignition, you can find some extra pins in there. I don't remember the name of the tool.

Hey man I need to do this as well for my girlfriends daughters civic only thing is she had like 5 other people mess with it and now the key only goes in half way. Is there any other way to remove the cylinder without inserting the key? I'm sure they bent the shit out of the little pins.
