That last bit when you took it for a test drive made me chuckle a bit. “Give it a rip.” Proceeds to go through them gears and rip around a corner squealing the tires lol

RBA, thank you for the great vid! 78k on my 09 FA5. That lil rip was fantastic! These truly are the best bang for the buck reliable “go cart” you can buy. Time to flush some fluid!

For the bleeder nipple, I've found that oxygen extension tubing, which has two flared ends to connect to barbed fittings can be purchased cheaply on eBay, fits perfectly over the bleeder nipple and seals almost perfectly. A thin box wrench over the nipple, then the oxygen tubing over top, and you can bleed into a bottle without dripping any.

Can you tell me the sequence to do it where I start and where I end thanks for your help

I just did it. Usually you start with the longest line first.

Awesome video sir! Do you know where I can find the clutch bleeder valve for 2013 honda civic 1.8 liter engine? I bought a repair manual and changing/bleeeding the clutch fluid is not there. Thanks!more power and God bless!
@RustBeltAuto5 жыл бұрын
The bleeder screw is on the slave cylinder bolted to the transmission. Follow the fluid line for it, you can't miss it.

whats the sequence of bleeding the brake? is it driver side, passenger back passenger than driver passenger?>
@RustBeltAuto5 жыл бұрын
Doesn't matter much. It's usually RR, LR, RF, LF. left front (drivers) being shortest, RR being longest. Some vehicles say RR, LF, LR, RF, because of the way the brakes operate. Like I say, doesn't matter much, because you are just replacing the fluid, and not bleeding out any air in the system.

Once you get your 100K subs I think you need to start shopping for a S2000! I bet you'd like taking that for a rip too!
Didn't Ford have a hand in that? I think there was a 351W inside. It would be a neat car, don't see too many of them.

Use dot4LV for the clutch

Anyone know how much fluid do I need to flush all three?
@RustBeltAuto5 жыл бұрын
I usually use a 32 ounce bottle to do a brake flush. a little 12 oz should be more than enough to do the clutch. You might be able to do both with a 32.

Maybe you should use gravity to drive safer 🤦🏻♂️
@RustBeltAuto6 жыл бұрын
Gravity is dangerous. Especially when you fall. It does not make you safer. It just slows you down, and makes you feel fat. Thanks for watching.
