2006 BMW 525i radio repair quick fix

BMW radio not working 525i 2006

Hello, do you mind describing your radio going "on and off"? Was it just the audio or was the radio screen going black and unresponsive? My screen goes black and the stereo buttons don't get it to respond. Trying to figure out if I have the same issue as you.

This modupe is DAB radio module. Problem is with TCU but if you disconnect optic fibrw cable on one but " brak3" comunication and that why you think you "fix" that.

My radio hose on and off and music does the same. Can it be the same issue? Where is that box located?

Did you find the wiring in the manual? How did you know which wire to pull? I have a different bmw model which is why I am asking

not sure you still need the advice.. but I plied off the brown , and red and blue wiring connected to the satellite module ( the video ^ )

What was your steps to getting to this? I have a 2006 525i bmw.

It was a hassle to get out so I plied the correct ( brown , red/blue ) wiring and my radio worked right back up no cracks no shut offs and all controls worked.
