2006 Glen Helen Toyota Motocross Lites (250cc) Championship (Final Round)

This is the 12th and final round of the 2006 Toyota Motocross Lites (250cc) Championship by FMF from Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA.
Returning contenders like Nathan Ramsey, current SX Lites West and 2003 125cc champ Grant Langston, Andrew Short, Billy Laninovich, Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Sipes, Josh Hansen, Josh Grant, Tommy Hahn, Steve Boniface, Branden Jesseman, Chris Gosselaar, 2001 champ Mike Brown and others battle it out for the 2006 Toyota Motocross Lites (250cc) Championship presented by FMF. Ryan Villopoto debuts his MXDN #2 in moto 2. Pro Circuit teammate Ben Townley comes back again from injury and earns an impressive 3rd overall.

Totally. It just goes to show how both careers panned out. Villopoto went on to elite status, and Mike Alessi kept picking up the pieces after his 2005 125cc MX meltdown at Glen Helen.

Unfortunately, that's the truth about Alessi. I will admit I began to change my tune about him when he showed he wanted to beat James Stewart in 2008. I was believing he could until Red Bud came along.
