Just bought an 06 Commander Limited in the Mettalic Silver and I absolutely love it. The V8 is awesome and the car is super roomy and very luxurious. I would recommend this SUV to anyone looking for a great reliable family vehicle.

I have a 2007 jeep commander 5.7 v8 4x4 and I gotta say it's a beast. I love it by far the best truck I've ever had. I used to drive a jeep patriot but this beast makes the patriot look like a baby jeje

Definitely the best jeep for its day. I always loved the styling of these things. My next door neighbors have one & so does my cousin. I didn't ask my cousin what engine hers has when I rode in it a while back, but I think it has the 4.7L V8 from the sound of it.

I just bought this same 2006 w/Hemi but w/saddle brown leather, and no rear ent dvd for $9800. It was salvaged ( previous owner must have scraped a tree off-roading), and it cost me 5k to repair. No frame damage. The gas mileage sucks, as I'm getting 10.8 in city. Runs beautiful though. It's fast. Had 50,355 miles. Overall pleased. also picked up a 2010 hyuandai accent GS 3 dr 5 spd with 3,200 miles for $4900. Only 2k to repair. Great gas mileage on that one!

I hope Jeep comes out swinging and give us something with the looks of this, bulky, squared, SUV but with all their modernities like the pentastar with the 8-speed, a hemi option, and their new interior! Pretty sure that would sell like hotcakes. Maybe use the Durango's chasis?
