I just bought a 08 4matic. It runs like a champ with 140,000 miles. It is quiet and smooth. Very happy with my purchase. Parents thought it was a new car... It really looks newer than 08..

The R Class is essentially just a minivan and for that model year, there was a sleeper version of that called the R63 AMG and only 200 were made but they used the same engine from the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG

We had one and I just miss it so much we had the AMG sports package with the AMG 5 spoke rims and was a dark silver color and it was just loaded with options

I remember reading about it in a magazine filled with concept vehicles and this was one of them. As far as I can remember there were only two pictures, one from the outside and one looking down at the middle from the far rear seats. At that time I really wanted my parents to suddenly dig up enough money and buy one of those as a family car :P

I own a 2010 R350 and the second and third row fold down to give you the maximum space of about 7 feet. This is an awesome vehicle. Btw, my husband is about 6'1, 200 lbs and he fits comfortably in the third row.

Veyr nice car, why are some of the best cars the ugliest? Funny about that; not if you stay ahead of it. If it hiccups, fix it now. Know when to take it to which dealership (trans. service - one quoted $600, one $300), when to take it to a competent independent garage and how to source your own parts. Not really worse than any other premium brand car.
