Best scooter one can buy. Fast, powerful, two riders, high quality and dependability, beautiful Italian styling, no digital sh!t, nothing computer, and made in Italy (NOT Ch!na). Not too small, not too big. Gets about 75 MPG. Just a truly great scooter.
9700 miles, newer Heidenau tires. Sold via Craigslist July 2020 for $1400. Top speed (for me) was 73 MPH. The only thing close to the Fly 150 seemed to be the liquid-cooled Scarabeo from Aprilia, and (if you don't mind riding Oriental) the slightly lesser-powered Yamaha Zuma 125 (Taiwan). Honda made a PCX 125 but that was on the bottom of my list (made in Thailand ):
The only two (little) complaints I had were 1, lack of that white tenths of a mile on the odometer, and 2, the clock battery didn't have an easy-access battery door. This is why every used Fly you see has a clock that's blank. Replacing the clock battery is labor intensive...
Also noteworthy: the "footdeck" (or whatever you call that platform) is flat. This is EXTREMELY useful. Some scooters have a center bulge. Why does this matter? If it's flat, you can set down a 30-pack can of cheap beer, or backpack, or anything within reason... You'll realize quickly that cargo storage is a commodity when shopping for a 2-wheeled vehicle!
P.S. one thing I never did was mount a makeshift "cup holder" for rotten eggs, so that when motorists deliberately cut me off, I had a special gift for their window...
