2022 of May. Looking at this very old KZbin channel video. I own a 2021 Buddy 125 and love the bike. I had owned a 5cc buddy 2008 , and traded in for my new Buddy. The key to scooters maintenance scheduled. You will get years of experience and enjoyment 😉. From Florida good day.

Great video I 2008 Genuine buddy scooter 125cc it does 70 miles per hour indicating on the odometer but it's a myth try put on the GPS speed sensor using your mileage will be in kilometer. SO Genuine buddy scooter company never took the time out to calibrate it from kilometer to miles per hour although we know where's speed in miles is lower than kilometer so everyone don't get fool but I'm still happy be able to do 50- 55 true MPH!

Saw this girl came off a 150cc vmoto scooter at 90kph, no gloves, just helmet a skirt, sandal, and jumper, she lost chunk of meat/skin every time her body touch the tarmac as she rolled and slide on the tarmac like sand paper at that speed, it burn through, her half face helmet came off coz she didn't strap it lol, plus she lost part of her heel / uneven standing for life coz it cut right off when smash her leg against the scooter, lost so much skin on her beautiful legs/ruining scars for life and her back plus under her armpit, lost a few front teeth because the handle bar hit her mouth, look so clean, no blood but her wounds got lots of sand and dirt embed into them, in 2 second she became a different person and her life changed forever and a painful shocking traumatic one too .......but there are others had similar accident but walk away with minimal life impact injuries WHY?, full face helmet put on and tight correctly, leather riding boots, leather riding gloves, internal armor and pads.leather jacket, motorcycle design riding jeans......is your body priceless??, human body not design for high speed crash, when it happens to you, only in 2-3 seconds it will destroy your life forever, look harmless enough but it is a trap, those fell into it quietly withdraw into the shadow give up riding and never share their sad and idiotic story so rarely ppl hear or learn from it. Riding in unbelievably fun but it can cripple you for life if you naive die is the easy part, living and suffering is bad, yeah if you riding you must know to respect the danger involve, always prepare for a crash, and poor road craft is a the ticket to hell, some survive with a few chances, some won't recover on their very first crash......what is your chance?......roll the dice

I just started considering a piagio scooter because there's a dealer near me and I went in to see. they are not as overpriced as I thought they would be. Brand new with a warranty that is actually honored by the dealer, they are really an affordable reliable scooter. I'd like to see more videos and reviews of piagio fly because I really want to know more about these scooters from real owners.

I just had an elderly lady pull out in front of me and total my Downtown 300i. Greatest scooter on the planet in my opinion. The only negative to it may be it's a bit bulky so slowing is needed at tight corners. I'm thinking 150 area for my next. I've narrowed it down to the Honda PCX, Fly 150 3V and after seeing this, thinking maybe a Buddy 170. Any opinions about the Buddy 170?

I didn't end up getting one. After trying all of those I listed though, the Fly 150 for sure would be the one I would have went with. The PCX seemed to narrow, and I didn't really like the feel of any of the Buddies I tried. The Fly had a good mix of maneuverability and power.

Hello. I ride a 2009 buddy 150 Pamplona. It is nimble and quick and handles bumps very well even though it has ten inch tires. I only rode in my neighborhood and the busier streets in my town and the speed limit is 40 though most drive at 45-50 mph. I am able to easily keep up. It’s a good one for me. I feel comfortable and confident riding it.

im 280lbs I have a 150cc not bad to scooter around the town but will not ride it at top speed on Highway will burn the shit out of it the wind pushes hard at speed of 40mp still not buying a windshield they will bend and brake at high speeds

Yes look for wiring connect to the side stand, pull it off … but careful, if you forgot to put side stand up and ride away and you lean over and stand hit the ground and you go down, I know some people did that 🫣

Wow 68mph! My chinese 150cc barely gets 58mph because the gearing is terrible... It's all acceleration, and no top end! The engine screams even at 25mph. I'm always having problems with it... but I've been riding it for 5 years somehow! I have never dared to take it on highway.

+RosieMoto put the right rollers/variator in there and it will run much better.

+RosieMoto I've watched your videos and your scoot runs at about 6000rpm under load; it might sound like it's screaming but it's really not. As +Insain Toyota says you could tune the rollers/variator to lower the RPM but since you ride 2-up a lot it's probably set up about right.

Since my comment I've gone pretty crazy tuning the variator and rollers and all different combos. It ended up about 3-5mph faster. It seems whenever I tuned it any higher RPM than 6200 under full throttle, it loses top end speed, I guess because at that point the rollers are too light to climb the belt to the top of variator. With my current setup it maxes out to 7000 RPM at 60mph (55mph GPS) now.
