Bummer, that ticking sound is for sure not normal. I have a 2006 C4S as well. Owned 14 years and 95k miles. She still purrs, no ticking sounds. What was your diagnosis, what climate do you live in and how many miles?

How much is the estimate to resleeve it?

quite a bit lol. whole engine needs to be taken apart to reach the inside. some parts won't be reusable once putting the car back together and they have to be reordered. Sleeving alone can cost north of US$6k + labour and parts. in the end you might be looking at US$20k+

It’s scoring on 4, 5, 6 cylinder. It needs to be re-sleeved.

@@supabid please disclose to the buyer before selling. it would be a bummer for the next buyer if they didn't know. might be someone lifelong dream to own a Porsche with their hard earned money.
