We made the playoffs 2 years out of 4 (should have made the NFC Championship game in 05 if Carlos Rogers makes the pick) and we had a fun group of players. Gibbs would have been back in 08 had it not been for ST's death, I truly believe. While it wasn't 3 super bowls, it was the most success we had since his retirement and after his second. He gave us a lot of excitement for 4 years during 2.0 and I think what he did was impressive

Little bit of irony- the Skins were also a key reason why New Orleans still clinched an aforementioned rare division title on this day despite the WSH. On Thanksgiving weekend when Carolina was in 1st place thanks to a H2H tiebreaker with the Saints, they got upset by……. Washington

I think that for a lot of us we came to expect a lot after 2005 and we're disappointed in 2006 and in 2007. The 2008 season was SOOOOOOOOOOOO rage inducing after that game vs the Steelers.

@@rockymvvrcianu6846100% Gibbs wouldn’t have squandered that 6-2 start in 2008. His teams were always known for getting better as the year went along. If Gibbs returned for 2008, I think they have a shot to get to the SB and win it all.
