omg can't believe how this guy works-- drain the rad the normal way and you won't make a mess. If you're taking the shroud off anyways, undo the fan clutch AFTER the shroud is out of your way. The top and bottom shroud can be separated. "Every step saved is a dollar earned" we were taught during our apprenticeship but some steps pay off by making it easier to work. Plus you don't have to spend time cleaning up the mess you made in your bay.

Hey Auto Fix Pal, I have a completely different question. But I wanted to ask, i have a 2006 Path, at 40 to 40+ miles my path starts to vibrate I have taken it to a few shops to see what may be the issue and none have come back with answers. I have even taken it to a dealer. With no help. If you have any thoughts or assistant would be appreciated brother. Thanks.

Sounds more like a wheel or driveline problem

Would tstat replacement help with overheating? I am stranded right now and coolant is just pouring out as soon as i take the cap off.

Let it cool. You have hot air pockets rising up.

Do you have any videos how changed front struts and rear Nissan Pathfinder 2012
@Autofixpals5 жыл бұрын
no. The fronts are not too difficult though. sway bar center supports need to be removed though.

@@larrycortes4433 kind of. Its not under that much tension. Mostly to line it up when your done. If im not mistaken you may have to actually pry the control arm down a bit.

My 2010, Nissan Pathfinder has a humming sound coming from radiator area, can't locate it, and on Idle engine temperature gauge starts going up, when moving on road it starts cooling, could that be the Fan Clutch, has a new thermostat about a year old in it. Thanks
@Autofixpals4 жыл бұрын
most likely a fan issue. could also be air in the cooling system.

@@Autofixpals hey I also have a 2010 pathfinder. I had the fan clutch replaced and the themostat at a shop close to me. lasted a few months then it started running hot again. I changed the radiator myself,,it helped a lil bit but still runs hot after driving after a hr or so. is there something else I can do?? wut about the temperature senser,could tht be a problem too??
@Autofixpals4 жыл бұрын
@@magee713 if there is no air in the cooling system and the thermostat is working correctly. You most likely have a headgasket leaking into the cooling system.
