I saw this video last night. Ordered it for next day and it took 15 minutes to install. I've been wanting a remote start for the 8 years since I had this truck and was too lazy to spend the time to install a avital alarm with remote start. This was seamless and easy. Thanks Mr Smiles. :)

Your review on Amazon led me to this video. Im glad i found it because after watching other videos, there's a third harness that goes to the TPMS. I thought i was missing that harness. Dot type remote doesnt need that harness. This is way to easy to install. Thanks, great video!

Does this somehow bypass the factory module which is located near the back window of the truck? My truck has not opened with the remote control for years. I even had a master mechanic friend of mine look at it and he said it’s probably that module located in the back of the cab.

Hey bro, I was just wondering if you had any starter trouble after you installed your remote start. Mine just quite cranking today after two weeks from the installation. The starter seems to just spin. It may be just a coincidence but it just happened.

yea, I had to replace my starter as well, but it wasn't because of the remote start. I've learnt that the starter going bad on these trucks, are a common problem. I'd recommend replacing it with a oem one.
