Full details on how to replace Mercedes Benz GL 450 Fuel pump. I have another video that shows how to replace the fuel filter.
Before I worked on the vehicle I made sure that the fuel tank was on E... so I didn't have to deal with a lot of fuel in the tank.

To be short and specific, my best advice to you is to go to a Mercedes Benz dealership part department and provide them your vehicle VIN last 8 digits and ask them for the coolant temperature sensor and if they can give you a print out / schematic of the sensor location.

The fuel pump is under rear seat right side (behind the passenger seat).

Actually, I changed the fuel filter because it was leaking. however, the pump was nearby... so, I decided to make a video to show people how I removed the pump.

@@ralphtaylor787 Turn the key to on position and leave it on for 5 seconds then try to start the vehicle. If it starts with no problem... the pump may be weak and/or the fuel filter may be too dirty.

😆 my mistake. What you have to do... is to disconnect the connector from the pump. Take the pump out and replace it with the new one and just reverse the removal steps.
