Wow, that was super easy. Took me two days to remove three stuck wheels and another day to remove rear drums on my GMC Sonoma. Worst time I ever had doing a brake job. Heat, sledge hammer pry bars, rust penetrant and numerous unmentionable words were applied before I even got started replacing the actual brake parts. Sometimes you're the fly but sometimes you're the swatter.

first thing, it's not a scraper there called brake wear indicators (also known as squealers) are elements of your brake pads designed to squeak once the layers of your brake pads are worn out.

you should always change your rotors or get the old ones machined at a mechanic or auto machine shop as you never know by feeling them or looking at them they could be warped as your break system get very hot at times . if you don't change the rotors, you might get a shudder or wobble, or even your vehicle may pull to right or left in the steering wheel while breaking

Not really necessary in Ga. Slide pins moved freely.

you never open the bleeder unless you're bleeding your brakes you can get bubbles in the brake system that why it's called a bleeder
