Remember just be patient . it would be alot better if my hands were smaller but I was able to get it out just my dropping the intermediate shaft as shown. Good luck brother

Its on the driver side in front of the sway bar....its a pain but a little finessing , you can get it out without removing everything but the 10mm bolt connecting the intermediate steering shaft .... Move it out the way then start moving it around and start getting the starter out.....

Bull ass!. If you want to keep your sanity pull the rack and pinion off its only three bolts and the heat shield. It will save you time and prevent you from throwing a grenade in your car in the long run.
