Great work ando video! It is very interesting to lower and raise the engine in two takes but I wonder how you manage to change the hydraulic jack to raise it. 😄 This car has a brunch of torx and hex bolts. I really hate them. Are your hex and torx bits impact-like? I think they aren't but they last. Some bolts are so hidden as in the 1.6 Volvo you showed a couple of weeks before. Nearly same engine? Great work! Thank you very much!

. If the gearbox has gone back in that means it’s all aligned. The only thing to watch for is tighten the pressure plate bolts in small increments of a few turns as you go round them.

@@WMCS thanks for your time So if I understand correctly the bolt tightening has to be even so that the chainring sits evenly on the disc... But, assuming if we have tightened one side fully before passing another side, what can happen in this case? ... I ask that because I had to change the clutch kit twice at a mechanic and I still have the same problem of vibrations and chatter at 1st gear ... its the reason? Thanks, please

Any reason you take the control arm bull joint out instead of the three bolts underneath it instead .? Ball joints more of a pain then the three bolts under holding it …?

If you remove the three bolts then you really need to track it as it can go back in a slightly different place but if you disconnect the ball joint there is no need because it goes back in exactly the same place.

Scotty Kilmer is very negative about European Cars, as many American mechanics are.. I remember a comment from an American mechanic once which went like this "There is only one set of circumstances where you should own a French car. That is, you are French and you live in France".. I do not agree, I love French cars, but if I lived in USA I would think twice before owning one.
