Aca en Argentina no bajamos la caja. Solamente la corremos y nos da espacio para laburar, apenas desarmamos el tren delantero de un solo lado. Un embrague de esos, en 3 horas esta listo.

Nice, never seen a petrol version done of this. I am going to have a crack at my Passat 1.6 TDi with a blueprint clutch. I'll let you know how I get on with it haha. I'll use your videos too! 👍👍👍 Thanks for the videos.

22:22 they already removed a part of the washer by a grinder. Otherwise you can't access to that bolt. Still nice work 👍🏼💪

@@WMCS 😂, sometimes it works for me to use a pipe key size 16/17 to remove that long thread. But most of the times they are stuck and then comes the grinder... 🙄

This one looks like a relatively clean strip down .. Noticed that it has the pressed steel wishbone arms that allow some clubbing with a hammer.. Unlike ANY of the diesels which all have forged arms which don't have the lip to club against.. What I hate about these is the dark arts self adjusting clutch cable... Which cost an arm and a leg...

I wanted to replace the cable. But it could only be purchased from Peugeot., like you’ve mentioned cost a little fortune. Nonetheless it was a nice repair this one. Compared to the diesel version which is on the channel if you have a look.

Kyle Mclachlan always use an axle stand placed on the end of the gearbox when shifting the jack over.

It’s water repellant white grease. .,, if not applied the bearing tends to seize up and doesn’t come out easy over time .., so I try and think ahead for the next person.

Thanks Geoffrey I’ll keep that in mind 🍻 I carry about 40kg is spare nuts and bolts and all sorts of fasteners for any eventuality. Check the tool video 🍻🍻🍻

I’ve got reverse drill bits and bolt extractors. … once you drill it through they always come out nicely.
