Thanks for sharing that, I have a 2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV and my HID bulb is our on my passenger side. The dealership wanted to charge me $400 to change two bulbs they were charging me almost $200 a bulb, but i can get a pair for under $100 and have someone install them for me. This video has shown me I can do this myself...Great Video

You can also get access to the light through the fender well, but you'll have to remove the front tire of whatever side you need to replace

Awesome Video. Do you have a video for changing the drivers side bulb? Also, what's the name of the bulbs I should get from local auto parts store? I have a 2007 just bought it so I'm trying to learn.

Lance...unfortunately we do not have a video of the drivers side. If I remember right it should be easier to access if a similar way. At the auto parts store just tell them you need H.I.D. bulbs

hey John. this is also the same on 08 model right? and should I buy from dealer, or online since it's cheaper? what exactly to buy, ballast with bulb extended out of it? cuz since I've seen on amazon are just a flat piece with nothing on the end, does it matter brand, and if so what is the original brand, Is it ac delco? sorry for all the questions loll just freaking out cuz a friend of mine told Me when this happens they'd have to take my entire bumper down and it'll cost close to $4/500 for everything! please say it ain't so!

Got my bulbs on ebay but made sure they were brighter than OEM. Think they were 5000K lumens. Don't go over that because the higher the number, the more the color will change (blue, purple, etc), but more importantly, it impairs how far ahead one can see. Hate how yellow the OEMs are, including the daytime running lights and the top bulb. Changed all of my bulbs to bright white and not those dingey yellow ones from the factory.

this video sucks it 1000 times easier to remove the full headlight assembly that way you can replace any blub on any side and itll go in and come out the same way both side super easy there is only 4 bolts that hold it in just remove plugs in grill to loosen the grill to pull the headlight out

Unless something drastically changed, you pop the two plastic rivets on the radiator shrowd, pull the two metals pins on the light assembly, and the assembly pulls out. It's designed to be changed in about 3 minutes, no need to remove anything in that video.

After change the bulb if it still wont work Then check fuse and if fuses are good then definitely your ballast of headlight go bad. is the another main reason as well u need to replace them .

Hello Friend, your video is great. I got to the bulb following video, however, the bulb currently installed has a circular end and I cannot twist counterclockwise. Any idea how to take these circular metal end bulbs off? Also, the electronic connector (plug) connects directly into the bulb via 1 wire (in other words no ports on the bulb enclosure). The only thing coming from car is 2 wires - yellow and black wires that came off with each having small metal tip connector which connect to the end of the bulb’s plug. Also, I noticed there is no retainer clip. I see all the metal which the retainer covers when on.
